Bralli - Halla
Combine your axe throwing experience with a good ol’ WOW braai. Get to throw axes while you feast like a Viking, enjoy a hearty meal that tastes like it was made in Valhalla itself! We’ll put you through the safety instructions first, teach you the techniques and let you have a go at it for a bit and in no time you’ll be ready to have a showdown – all while enjoying the braai! This activity is highly recommended for summer time, or any day with great weather. If you choose to book this activity please make sure braaing will be allowed at the outdoor venue of your choice plus purchase meat that everyone in your office will be able to devour, that’s all you need to worry about and we’ll bring the axe throwing trailer, axes, meat and the braai master.

KNIFE THROWING
After axe throwing, knife throwing is the next coolest s**t. If both activities were African presidents, axe throwing would be Nelson Mandela while knife throwing is Paul Kagame and of course we all know bowling is Robert Mugabe. Knife throwing can be learnt as a sport, combat skill, and entertainment technique or just for pure fun. In a team building sense you might want to learn it to discourage your boss from ever firing you.

• Bring your own beverages and make sure you don’t consume enough alcohol to convince you to throw knives at moving targets.
PAY PER THROW
PPT is strictly for festivals, markets, concerts, carnivals, fairs and any other outdoor event that has a solid track record and has been in existence for at least two years. If you can prove that your event is credible with great numbers we can set up at your event for FREE and charge your attendees for throws.
Unlike all our other packages, PPT does not come with a lengthy session and tournament, just think of it as a quickie, a brief taste of axe or knife throwing, you bust an axe and that’s it. Attendees simply pay for the amount of throws they want which means it will in no way distract them from the main event, making it a fantastic add-on.

READY TO KICK SOME AXE?
Axe throwing is super fun but also requires a little bit of caution as such we have a waiver to be signed in-person. Please also make sure to show up with closed shoes, just to make sure you leave with your pinky toes intact

FAQ's
Do you assist in searching for a venue?
No. Unfortunately we don’t. That will be entirely on you and your group, we have a few venues we can recommend like Johannesburg Expo Centre, Honey Dew (JHB), Goedeverwachting Estate (Somesert West, CPT), Woodstock Brewery (CPT), Vredenheim Wine Farm (Stellenbosch) & Val De Vine (Stellenbosch), these are venues we’ve hosted events at before but you’d have to visit them to find out if they work for your group.
Almost all of them do not require you to pay a venue fee however you will need to support the venue which might mean booking an activity with them as well or buying food and drinks. Otherwise you can just be creative and find out if anyone in your group has a piece of land or a front/backyard. We can even come to your place of work if you have enough space!
Do you host events indoors as well?
Yes. Provided there is a way for us to bring in one of our mobile axe throwing trailers.
How safe is outdoor axe/knife throwing?
Relatively safe provided that everyone listens to the instructor at all times. We also require everyone participating to sign a waiver.
What should I wear?
Closed shoes and anything to protect your skin from the sun.
Access and Space requirements?
We will require a flat level area to situate the axe/knife throwing trailer.
The trailer and steps combined are 5m long and 3m wide thus the minimum flat level space required is 6x4m – ideally a square pitch of 12x12m is preferred.
Consider turning access for our vehicles and attached trailers. We also recommend that anything over hanging the access route such as tree branches are above the 3m height level so as to not interfere with the trailer frame work.
Access is not WOW’s responsibility (width, height, kerbs, turning access etc) , it’s up to the hirer to ensure that we have safe and suitable access. Should the access not be suitable then there will be no refunds.
